The most common problem among users of the PC and printing. In fact very often is sent to print a document and this is not readily printed. How to solve this problem? We check with some steps to be able to solve it:
- Check printer status
To be able to check you have to go to Start - Control Panel - Printers and Fax Within this window we will see a list of our printers, we positioned the mouse cursor over our printer should open up a balloon (tooltip) to denote "Status: Ready - Offline - Pause
- If the printer status is "Pause" just click the right mouse button on the printer and choose "Resume Printing", then the problem should be solved otherwise proceed with the reading

If the printer status is "Offline" must occur:

if the printer is turned on

if the power cord is connected

if ights are lit

if the USB cable is connected to the printer (try to disconnect and reconnect)

if is a network printer to check if the network cable is connected, if the network port flashes, identify the IP address of the printer and try to ping (Start - Run - cmd - ping 192.168.x.xxx )

if the printer is shared out check that computer if is turned on

If the printer status is "Online" must occur:

if printer lights indicate a problem or toner cartridges run out, paper out, paper jam (remove paper tray and verify)

check processes found by clicking on the printer icon in the window opened in first step

if here is no process or the printer has already given incorrectly performed work or you have selected a different printer for your document

if the print job is present check the size, especially because some documents or pdf files are very heavy to be printed and then the entire process may take several minutes

in some cases it may be necessary to cancel the print job because the preceding blocks all subsequent processes. To cancel a print job must select it and press DELETE keys and confirm the cancellation request
- try to print the configuration page using the buttons on the printer, check its manual if you do not know the key sequence:
- if the configuration page does not print very likely have a hardware problem check jams then contact the specific assistance

if the configuration page is printed then the problem is on your computer or sending data to the printer
- try to print from a text editor like "Notepad", if the print is successful it means that the printing problem is due to the application used for printing
- if the printing problem still persists that remains is to try the traditional remedies computing: power cycle the printer, if it still does not work try restarting the computer also. In these tests, a reboot should always delete the print job in memory and run the print to be sure to rule out other problems
