Not everyone knows that when you delete a mail message in Thunderbird in fact the message is not really deleted but only marked and thus made invisible. Indeed it may happen that in some cases error messages you may resubmit old. To overcome this problem and to save some 'valuable space, in addition to the obvious privacy issues, you can click the right button on the folder and choose "Compact" At this point we would make sure that messages are really deleted. |
