To make an invisible computer in a local area network LAN you need to edit the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\ Services\LanManServer\Parameters Create a DWORD value and name "Hidden" (without the quotes) and set the value'1'. To make your computer visible just set "Hidden" to value '0'. |
