Lately there is a fairly common problem on Windows with HP printers, though probably the persistent problem on other brands:
all of a sudden no longer able to print and the printer asks to load the tray (even if the tray is already loaded) and then you press the button from the panel because the page is printed.

The problem, probably caused as a result of windows updates, can be obviated by the setting to "Printing Preferences - power" by selecting the "Auto Select Printer", tested on HP LaserJet 1320. On the HP LaserJet 4014 was to set the value "First" in the USA TRAY request submitted in the "Configure Device - System Setup - Operation Drawer"
