Many websites appear ill or even lose some functionality on Internet Explorer 8, this is due to different interpretations of css and javascript from earlier versions of the browser.

To resolve this problem, Internet Explorer 8 has a feature called "Compatibility View" which allows you to view web pages in the same mode of Internet Explorer 7.

To add a site to just click on the "Compatibility View" button  on this in the address bar or click the menu item "Tools - Compatibility View Settings" and enter the site by clicking the Add button.
