Unable to open PowerPoint attachments from Outlook Express

Following the installation of SP2 or SP3 no longer able to open PowerPoint attachments from Outlook Express mail.

Solution:

     * Click on Start-Run and type CONTROL FOLDERS
     * Select the "File Types"
     * Scroll to locate the line PPS
     * Select it and click the Advanced button
     * Among the actions select "Show" and click on "change"
     * In the "Application used to perform action" you write for PowerPoint Viewer 2003: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\PowerPoint Viewer\pptview.exe" "%1" or PowerPoint Viewer 2007: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\pptview.exe" "% 1"
     * Uncheck "Use DDE"
     * Finally, click Ok, Ok, Ok

The deal is identical to the file extension PPT except in the third point where it is located on the line.
